The Harrisburg Railroad Old Timers are a group of retired and working people who love reminiscing about riding the rails that helped build America. Last summer, we hosted a picnic celebrating together our past and our shared love of the railroads. It’s our hope that you’ll join us this September. Feel free to help spread the word to everyone you know!

This picnic is open to the retired, working, or other crafts that worked adjacent to the T&E crews.

Picnic will be held at the Harrisburg Postal Picnic Grounds.

Railroads are a powerful reminder that hard work and ingenuity can make the most daunting tasks possible.
At The Event
✔️ Alcohol & gambling (with discretion) is permitted *
✔️ Food & Drinks will be available from the food truck vendors.**
✔️ We will have multiple food trucks on site!
* The picnic committee will not be providing any alcohol. It will be BYOB. Gambling will be at the attendee’s discretion.
** If you need special dietary food or a preferred drink, please bring your own.
This year, we determined it would be better not to supply the food for the picnic. Instead, we will offer multiple on-site food, drink, and ice cream vendors.
There will be an admission fee of $10.00 at the gate to cover the cost of the picnic facility. We are trying to get an idea of attendees, so RSVP below to let us know if you intend to join us. RSVP is not required, but it will help us have an accurate count.
